STATEMENT OF FAITH
Scripture - We believe the Bible as the flawless, inerrant word of God, delivered to humanity.
God - We believe that there is only one true God, manifest in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Spirit. God is the creator of all things and redeemer of man.
Man - We believe that God created male and female, without sin from his own hands, in his image. Adam sinned against God by his own free will. All mankind are now born into sin and have a sin nature and are incapable of coming to God on their own, necessitating complete reliance on God for life and redemption.
Salvation - We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone according to Scripture alone for the glory of God alone. Man is incapable of saving itself or seeking after God due to his fallen nature. Salvation is initiated and fulfilled by the convicting and regenerative power of the Holy Spirit, who grants genuine faith and repentance. This transformation occurs through the Word of God as it is proclaimed and studied. While works contribute nothing to salvation, those who experience regeneration will naturally exhibit the fruits of their transformed lives.
Church - We believe the church is the body of Christ, not a building, religious organization or a particular denomination. The church is made up of those who have become followers of Jesus Christ globally and across time. The church exists to worship and glorify God and for the making of disciples through the proclaiming and embracing of the Gospel.
Ordinances - We believe the Lord Jesus Christ has instructed the observance of two ordinances for all christians to partake in: baptism, symbolizing believers' union with Christ and the church through immersion, and the Lord’s Supper, as remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice for our sins.
Eternity - We believe that God has an ultimate plan for the world's culmination, even though no-one knows the time, Jesus Christ will return, judgment will be administered, and believers will be united with the Lord in eternal heavenly existence.
